The cluster**k Sellwood Bridge move finds Robert stuck in traffic with nothing better to do than make a podcast about things that aren’t his fault, like…everything. Other topics include: A Concert For Katrina, the Asian Girl Cheeseburger Excuse, and Conversations At A Gamestop Store.

So you need an all purpose excuse for fucking up? I’ll share mine, you’re old enough now that it will work for you.
“Sorry, My new meds aren’t agreeing with me.”
At my age they think it means my blood pressure medication is reacting with the allergy drug or the prostate pill. They don’t need to know I just had a beer and smoked a bowl.
This is even a white male specific excuse, who else (besides white women) are both dumb enough to fall for drug ads and have enough insurance to buy them?

Thanks. I’ll be practicing that one in my spare time. It’s particularly relevant now that I have health insurance (finally) too!

I did not watch the Concert for Sandy, I was only aware of who was doing what by watching my Twitter feed. Your description of “Comfortable Numb” was great, I was thinking “who was the goat that walked on?” and then came the realization of “oh. THAT goat.”

Thanks. I was worried that if I didn’t spell it out for people they’d immediately think “Wait a minute, Stevie Nicks wasn’t there!!”

When the sales people at GamesStop ask you that question again, say, “What part of the word ‘No’ do you not understand?” Or, just say nothing and stare at them.
